In 2001, Bali Horse Riding joined the stable, and with over 20 horses and beautiful beaches to ride them on, became an instant success. Alit Yudha, the company’s founder, , the son of the National Hero, I Gusti Ngurah Rai, had a dream to improve the social conditions in the surrounding villages by encouraging tourism. When the company started it had only a handful of people, and now it contributes to employing up to 200 people in and around the beautiful location.

Kintamani Mountain CyclingCycle from the chill mists at the roof of Bali through local villages to the artisan’s colony of Ubud in the island's signature biking adventure. Fueling up with a light breakfast overlooking the Mount Batur volcano and crater lake, you’ll wind though the back roads, seeing the scenery and vegetation change as you descend one vertical kilometer, through villages inaccessible by car, enjoying local refreshments of fresh coconut and visiting a traditional Balinese house. The morning adventure ends with a feast at the Bridge Café in Ubud.
Jatiluwih Rice Paddy CyclingPedal through the most beautiful scenery in Bali with a cycling tour of the terraced rice paddies in the highland village of Jatiluwih. This World Heritage Site is a living museum showcasing the island's traditional methods of agriculture, where clever land use and cooperative use of water and other resources turns almost-vertical hillsides into lush, ‘postcard’ rice paddies. The tour ends with a sumptuous lunch, featuring organic Jatiluwih rice and fresh mountain vegetables, overlooking Bali’s ultimate rice paddy view.
